MECS has agreed with Abengoa, S.A. of Seville, Spain
to the creation of an independent joint venture
company named ABENCS. The joint venture will be
located in St. Louis, MO U.S.A. and focused on
executing engineering and construction of
co-generation plants, ethanol, biodiesel and other
alternative energy producing facilities. ABENCS will
be staffed with detail engineering, procurement and
construction teams transferred from the MECS
organization in the U.S.A. Abengoa is a technology
company providing innovative solutions for sustainable
development in infrastructures, environment and
energy.
